The Well

Acording to the official statistics (World Health Organization) each 84.6 seconds, someone tries to kill him/herself. In the background, plays record of the process about suicide rates in Japan during and after II World war, exact source of the tape is unknown. Most of the time flat surface made of glass reminds on calm water. It turns into the hole each time someone, somewhere, somehow attempts suicide. This is an active Sculpture with sound, made of bricks, mirrors and light, April 2006.
